What is Baccarat and Why is it Popular?

Easy to Learn
The rules are simple — a card value of 8 or 9 from the start is a "natural" and wins immediately. No special skills are needed to get started.

Baccarat has long been a top choice among casino players worldwide, including Malaysia. The difference is that online baccarat at gtr99 lets you play from home or the office without queuing at a physical table. With a high-quality live video stream, the feel of playing at a real casino comes through clearly — whether you are relaxing at home in Kuala Lumpur or anywhere else.
One advantage of baccarat is its more balanced winning odds compared to many other casino games. The Banker, Player and Tie betting options give you control over your decision each round. At gtr99, every table displays a card history and past round records so you can analyse game patterns before placing your bet.

Game Tips
Basic Baccarat Strategies to Know
Baccarat is fundamentally a game of chance, but a few practical guidelines can help you make more considered decisions at the gtr99 tables.
-
Favour the Banker bet — statistics show that Banker wins slightly more often than Player over the long run, even with the commission charged at some table formats.
-
Avoid betting Tie too often — although the Tie payout is higher, it occurs less frequently and can deplete your account balance quickly if used as a primary bet.
-
Set a loss limit — before you start playing, decide on the amount you are willing to wager in a single session. If that limit is reached, stop and try again another time.
-
Use the round history — gtr99 displays previous round records at every table. This helps you track trends without making rushed decisions.
